Privacy Policy
Last updated: 07.06.2026
This policy explains how Await handles your data.
1. Local storage
Await stores your events, milestones, settings, language, theme, Life Progress data, profile name, date of birth, and selected images locally on your device.
Await may also store the purchase status locally to keep the Remove Ads feature active.
2. Servers and sale of data
At this time, Await does not send your user-created events, countdowns, milestones, dates, profile data, birth date, selected images, or Life Progress data to our own server.
Await does not sell your personal data.
3. Permissions
The app may request permissions for the following features:
- Notifications and reminders: to send local reminders about events and milestones. On Android, the app may use system exact alarms for exact reminders.
- Calendar: to access device calendars and import events or milestones. Depending on the OS, this may appear as full calendar access.
- Photos/gallery: to select an image or avatar and to save share images.
- Ads: to show advertising where available in the app.
- In-app purchases: to process optional purchases through the App Store or Google Play.
4. Advertising and Google AdMob
Await may show ads using Google AdMob.
AdMob is a third-party advertising service. Google/AdMob may collect or process data such as advertising identifiers, device identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics, approximate location, device information, performance data, and other data depending on user, device, and account settings.
Await does not send your user-created events, milestones, countdowns, profile data, birth date, or selected images to AdMob. Google's own privacy policies apply to data processed by AdMob.
Where available, you can control personalized ads through your device or Google account ad settings.
5. In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your platform.
Await does not receive or store payment card details or other payment credentials.
Await may store the purchase status locally on your device to keep the Remove Ads feature active.
Support Author purchases do not unlock extra features.
6. Data usage
Your data is used only to make the app features work.
7. Data deletion
You can delete data inside the app or remove the app from your device. When the app is deleted, local data may be removed by your device system.
8. Security
We try to use a safe approach to data storage. But because data is stored on your device, security also depends on your phone and system protection.
9. Children
Await is not intended to collect data from children. If you are under the age of majority, use the app with permission from a parent or guardian.
10. Policy changes
This policy may be updated. The new version will be available inside the app.
